So we want to say a MASSIVE thank you to Lucy for choosing the Theo Walker fund to run for. The money Lucy has raised will go directly to Chase Hospice for Sick Children. As you can see from the pictures below Nashie did this, not just in standard running gear, but dressed as a juice carton! Dan, Richo and I saw him at various points throughout the race, and however hard it must of been for him he was always determined to run wearing the outfit all the way to the finish line. Eddie and Sally Gilbert BLESSING - 5 June 2010
Eddie and Sally had their marriage blessed on the 5th June and we were incredibly happy when they suggested that instead of having a wedding list that they ask their guests to donate to the Theo Walker Fund. It is difficult firstly to express how touched we are by this gesture from Eddie and Sally and secondly by the remarkable generousity of so many of their friends who have donated to Theo, via his original JustGiving page.
The 3-PEAKS CHALLENGE IN 24 Hours - 17/18 July 2010
WE DID IT! Wow, what a challenge, it was tough, but it was worth every step we took. We always knew that Theo liked playing in the rain and he really showed us that on Ben Nevis. It was the worst weather they had seen all year, with gale force winds, torrential rain and poor visibility. However, Theo pushed Tiggy Allen, Sarah Hodson, Simon Morgan, Duncan Morris, Alex Richardson, Mima Seldon, Dave Slemen and Theo's mummy and daddy up and down the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland.
We want to say a massive thank you to Mike Slemen, Paul and Richard who made sure we got inbetween the mountains in record speed, while also trying to fix a blown tyre along the way and keeping us calm too!
Dan and I also want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you all who came on the journey/challenge with us. You were all awesome, we know it was hard, but you did it for Theo and us.. so Thank you Thank you... you are all very special people...
Thank you also to everyone who has donated so generously for this challenge. The amount we have raised is unbelievable and I know that it will gratefully received by Chase Hospice for Kids. www.chasecare.org.uk

Another 3-PEAK CHALLENGE in 24 Hours! - 10/11 July 2010
AND THEY DID IT TOO!!....Andy and Gina Ritchie, Will Ellis, Ben Thorne, Sarah Bailey, Dan Walker (a different one!) Malcolm Ritchie, Hannah McInnes, Lucy Harding, Paul Paxton, Laura Wilshaw, Mike Webster and Tom King (and driven by Malcolm) also took on the 3 highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland in the torrential rain, galeforce winds and poor visability!
Will Ellis wrote: "3 Peaks completed in 23 hours and 40 minutes. Some of the worst conditions ever. Gale force winds, so much rain, and 4 mtr visibility at times - frozen to the bone and wet, but as a team we did it. Perhaps the only ones foolish enough to go up Scafell Pike at 3am in horrendous weather. We encountered 2 lots who turned back, but what do they say about perseverance being the greatest element to success? For Theo!"
We know how tough the challenge is and so Dan and I cannot thank them enough for doing it and choosing to raise such an incredible amount of money for Theo (http://www.justgiving.com/Team-SW6) with all the money going directly www.heartline.org.uk. You guys really are all fantastic. Thank you, Thank you!
